DIY Immunity Cubes
When the seasons change, our immune systems can use a little extra support! Instead of reaching for chemical filled store-bought "immune boosters", why not make these simple, natural, and effective immunity cubes? Packed with powerful natural herbs and ingredients, these cubes make it easy to enjoy a warm and nourishing immune-boosting drink whenever you need it!
These little cubes are a great way to support your body with natural vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Somedays, I like to begin my day with with these immunity cubes in hot water with honey... I'm getting hydrated and receiving an immune boost first thing!

Ingredients You’ll Need
Each ingredient in these immunity cubes plays a special role in boosting your immune system and promoting overall well-being:
🍋 1 cup of fresh lemon juice – A great source of Vitamin C + helps support the immune system and fights free radicals.
🌱 1/4 cup of fresh ginger (peeled and chopped) – Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory and aids in digestion!
🌿 1 teaspoon of fresh or dried thyme – A powerful herb known for its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
💛 1 inch of fresh turmeric root (optional, but highly recommended) – This golden root is packed with curcumin, a compound known for its anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties.
🧄 1 small garlic clove (optional) – Known as nature’s antibiotic... garlic helps the body fight off colds and infections.
How to Make Immunity Cubes
These cubes are SO easy to prepare

Prepare Your Ingredients:

Juice your lemons and strain to remove any seeds. (Sometimes I'll just blend the whole lemon, rind and all).

Peel and roughly chop your ginger.

If using turmeric, peel and chop it as well.

Peel the garlic clove if adding.

Blend Everything Together:

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.

Blend until completely smooth. If necessary, add a splash of water to help blend.

Freeze into Cubes:

Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray.

Place in the freezer and let freeze completely. Now you have handy immunity cubes ready whenever you need!

Store for Later:

Once frozen, pop the cubes out of the tray and store them in an airtight container or freezer bag.

Keep them in the freezer for up to 3-6 months.

How to Use Your Immunity Cubes
Using these cubes is as simple as making a cup of tea!
